US telecommunications equipment giant Motorola has agreed to U a tie-up with South Korean technology company BG Tech on walkie-talkie mobile phones for industrial use. Under the 10-year agreement, BG Tech will develop and market the phones in Korea. Motorola posted sales of $31 billion in 2004. About $3.6 billion of this was from the sale of walkie-talkie phones.
