US-based networking and communications technology company Cisco Systems has signed a deal with Hong Kong-based telecom service provider PCCW Limited.

US-based networking and communications technology company Cisco Systems has signed a deal with Hong Kong-based telecom service provider PCCW Limited. Under the deal, PCCW will deploy Cisco’s optical networking solution (ONS) to strengthen its Ethernet private line and Ethernet virtual private line services for enterprise customers. ONS is expected to lead to faster deployment of new applications, minimised latency, scalable bandwidth, end-to-end network management and improved data integrity.
