Unitech Wireless, in which Norwegian telecom group Telenor holds a 49 per cent stake, is planning to raise up to Rs 100 billion through debt and other options to fund its network expansion plans.

Unitech Wireless, in which Norwegian telecom group Telenor holds a 49 per cent stake, is planning to raise up to Rs 100 billion through debt and other options to fund its network expansion plans.

The company intends to approach a consortium of banks from which it earlier raised a loan of Rs 12.5 billion in 2008, as well as other banks, for additional debt. It is also considering other options.
