Unitech Wireless and Sanjay Chandra, managing director, Unitech, reportedly plan to request the special court hearing the 2G case for a separate trial, say news reports.
It is believed that Chandra will submit his petition on the day the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) files a charge sheet in the Essar-Loop case.
Chandra?s petition will highlight that that he is not under investigation for an alleged money trail and has not been charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act and for forgery.
Chandra’s petition may also argue that the CBI has failed to support allegations that he conspired with any of the individuals indicted in the case.
