Uninor has published the financial results for the fourth quarter of 2012.
In the period under review, Uninor?s revenues for seven active circles have increased by 3 per cent from the previous quarter. In the fourth quarter of 2012 the operator?s average revenue per user stood at Rs 95.
The operator?s total earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the quarter under review stood at NOK 327 million. The company?s EBITDA was affected negatively by NOK 54 million due to reclassification of capital expenditure to operational expenditure. The company?s operating losses are down significantly from NOK 4978 million in the fourth quarter of 2011 to NOK 444 million in the corresponding period in 2012.
For the financial year 2012 the operator?s revenue increased from NOK 3,019 million in 2011 to NOK 3,716. The company registered an increase of 23 per cent in its revenues. Uninor EBITDA losses have decreased from NOK 3,414 million in 2011 to NOK 1,981 million in 2012. And its operating losses have decreased from NOK 8,514 million in 2011 to NOK 6,283 million in 2012.
