Tulip Telecom has posted an 11.62 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 870.6 million for the second quarter ended September 30, 2011.

In the same period last year, Tulip had recorded a net profit of Rs 779.9 million.

Announcing the results, Sanjay Jain, CEO, Tulip Telecom said, “High demand for our enterprise services continues across the connectivity, managed services and data centre product portfolios. Even though the lead time for decision making from organisations has increased, we have built a strong funnel across all product portfolios.?

The company’s revenue increased by 20.10 per cent during the quarter to Rs 7.02 billion, from Rs 5.85 billion in the 2010 July-September quarter.
