
Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) plans to upgrade its wireless internet network to support data transfer speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps across five cities including Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.
At present, operator?s data network supports 6.2 Mbps bandwidth across five cities. Earlier, in August 2014, TTSL had upgraded its wireless internet network across Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata circles.
The operator offers data services under the Photon brand across the country, except in the Northeast and Jammu and Kashmir circles. Besides, upgrading its network across five cities, the operator plans to launch a number of tariff plans for its pre paid customers.
