
Tata Teleservices Limited has shifted the roles of four top officials, weeks before rolling out 3G services.
Deepak Gulati, formerly president of the company?s GSM operations and its 3G business, will now be the executive president of the entire mobility division, including CDMA mobile services, according to reports.
A.G. Rao, who was heading techology and networks, has been appointed executive president in charge of the enterprise and technology division. The former head of marketing, Lloyd Mathais is now designated, president, corporate monitoring, which involves risk management, audit, business process re-engineering, brand development and governance. The president of corporate services, Pankaj Sethi, will now head Tata Teleservices Maharashtra.
The central functions of the operator will remain with officials already looking after these functions, but their roles were recently formalised to cover all subsidiaries, including Tata Teleservices Maharashtra.
These officials include Madhav Joshi, president, legal and regulatory affairs, C.N. Nagakumar, chief human resources officer, S.G. Murali, chief financial officer, and Koichi Takahara, chief strategy officer.
