TTSL has notched 6 million subscribers, with an addition of 1 million customers in the last 40 days, across its 20 circles. This coincides with the Tata Group chief Ratan Tata taking over as the non-executive chairman of the telecom subsidiary. According to industry officials, among other things, this was made possible by Tata Indicom’s recently launched non-stop mobile catering to the low-end segment of the market.
