TTSL has rejected the spectrum settlement offer presented by DoT and has termed the proposal as biased towards GSM players. The CDMA player has also joined hands with RCOM in demanding that GSM players should be made to return spectrum beyond 6.2 MHz. According to TTSL, refarmed spectrum should be given to crossover technology operators and other operators in queue for spectrum since December 2006. The two companies are likely to approach the telecom tribunal if GSM players and DoT agree on the latter’s seven-point settlement solution.
