According to a regulatory filing, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited’s (TTML) net loss has nearly halved from Rs 4.55 billion during the quarter ended (QE) June 2018 to Rs 2.29 billion during the QE June 2019.

The company’s total income stood at Rs 2.95 billion, around a 12 per cent decline as compared to the QE June 2018.

Earlier, in July 2019, Tata Teleservices Limited had stated that its consumer mobile business (CMB) had been merged with Bharti Airtel.

Further, the filing stated that TTML’s exceptional items during the QE June 2019 included a restructuring cost of Rs 22.6 million. It also said that as on June 30, 2019, the company had reviewed the recoverable amount of its CMB assets based on fair value less costs to sell and recorded Rs 1.84 billion as partial reversal of impairment recorded during the year ended March 31, 2018 and disclosed the same as an exceptional item for the QE June 2019.
