Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) has reported a decline in net loss from Rs 1.26 billion for the quarter ended June 2013 to Rs 1.22 billion in the same quarter in 2014. The reduction in losses has been due to the increased revenues by 2.91 per cent from Rs 6.87 billion in April-June 2013 to Rs 7.07 billion during the same period in 2014. The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and ammortisation (EBITDA) increased for the company by 11 per cent from Rs 1.62 billion for quarter ended June 2013 to Rs 1.79 billion for the quarter ended June 2014.

TTML recently upgraded its data network to improve the 3G network coverage as the data consumption for the company has been increasing. Data revenues made significant contribution to the improved revenues in April-June 2014. The company has been initiating various products in the small and large screen segments to strengthen its position in the market.
