Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited’s (TTML) net loss stood at Rs 1.52 billion in the quarter ended March 31, 2006, compared to Rs 1.78 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Its fourth quarter revenue expanded 42 per cent year on year to Rs 3.07 billion. During January-March 2006, TTML achieved its first ever cash profit of Rs 260 million compared to a loss of Rs 690 million in the corresponding quarter of 2004-05. The company’s revenue touched Rs 10.95 billion during 2005-06, and it expects to post net profits in two years.
