
Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) has posted its financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2013.
For the second quarter of financial year 2014, the company?s revenues stood at Rs 6.93 billion witnessing a year-on-year (y-o-y) growth of 6 per cent. TTML?s EBITDA increased by 23 per cent from Rs 1.11 billion in the second quarter of financial year 2013 to Rs 1.36 billion in the corresponding period in 2014.
For the first half of financial year 2014, the operator?s revenue reached Rs 13.88 witnessing a y-o-y growth of 5 per cent. TTML?s EBITDA increased by 21 per cent on a y-o-y basis from Rs 2.47 billion in first half of financial year 2013 to Rs 2.99 billion first half of financial year 2014.
For the period under review, the company also launched Tata DOCOMO Photon Max dongles targeted at prepaid and post-paid customers. In addition, TTML enhanced its network coverage by establishing an additional 1500 GSM tower sites and extending telecom services to 902 towns in the state. Over the next 100 days, the company plans to add about 625 tower sites to strengthen its GSM, CDMA and 3 G network.
