According to TRAI, the Push-to-Talk service offered by Hutch is a violation of its licensing conditions. It has asked the government to take appropriate action against the service provider. On its part, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has forwarded the case to the Telecom Engineering Cell to ascertain whether there has been any violation.
