It has also abolished the Re 0.80 per minute levy on outgoing ISD calls and reduced the ADC on incoming international calls by 38 per cent from Rs 1.60 to Re 1 per minute. The ADC burden on STD calls has been reduced by 50 per cent from Rs 1.50 per minute to Re 0.75 per minute. Telecom operators say the move will lead to a marginal reduction in STD rates anda 20 per cent decrease in ISD tariffs.
