The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the last date for receiving written comments on the issues raised in the supplementary consultation paper titled “Data Communication Services Between Aircraft and Ground Stations Provided by Organisations Other Than Airports Authority of India (AAI)”.
The supplementary consultation paper was released on August 3, 2023. The last date for receiving written comments from stakeholders on the issues raised in the consultation paper was fixed as August 17, 2023, and for counter comments by August 24, 2023.
Keeping in view the request of an industry association for an extension of time for submission of comments, TRAI has extended the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments on the aforementioned supplementary consultation paper up to August 24, 2023, and August 31, 2023, respectively.
