The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has granted additional time of 30 days to telcos for complying with its latest directive on making changes to tariff communication structure on operators’ websites, apps, customer care centres, point of sale and retail outlets.

As per the regulation on tariff publication released by the TRAI last month, telcos were supposed to produce a compliance report within 15 days.

However, the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI had stated that since changes are required to be made on the websites and apps which require due IT design and support, it would need additional time for completion.

Therefore, the TRAI has now granted telcos time till November 2, 2020.
