The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submission of counter comments on its consultation paper titled ‘Assignment of Spectrum in E and V Bands, and Spectrum for Microwave Access (MWA) and Microwave Backbone (MWB)’.
The consultation paper was released on September 27, 2023. Initially, the last date for receiving comments from the stakeholders was fixed on October 25, 2023, and counter comments by November 8, 2023. However, on the request of stakeholders, the last date for submission of comments and counter comments was extended thrice up to December 13, 2023, and December 27, 2023, respectively.
Now, keeping in view the request from stakeholders for further extension of time for submission of counter comments, TRAI has decided to extend the last date for submission of written counter comments up to January 3, 2024.
