The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submission of comments and counter comments on its consultation paper titled “Auction of Spectrum in 37-37.5 GHz, 37.5-40 GHz and 42.5-43.5 GHz bands Identified for International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT).”
The consultation paper was released on April 4, 2024. The last date for receiving comments from the stakeholders was fixed on May 2, 2024, and counter comments by May 16, 2024. However, on the request of industry and associations, the last date for furnishing comments and counter comments was extended up to May 16, 2024 and May 30, 2024, respectively.
Keeping in view the request of industry associations for further extension of time for submission of comments and counter comments, TRAI has decided to extend the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments to May 24, 2024 and June 6, 2024, respectively.
As per TRAI, no further requests for an extension of time will be considered.
