The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submission of comments and counter comments on its consultation paper titled ‘Revision of National Numbering Plan’.
The consultation paper was released on June 6, 2024. Initially, the last date of receiving comments from the stakeholders was fixed on July 4, 2024 and counter comments by July 18, 2024.
However, keeping in view the request from stakeholders/associations for extension of time for submission of comments, it has been decided to extend the last date of submission of comments and counter comments up to August 1, 2024 and August 15, 2024, respectively.
