The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submission of comments and counter comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper titled ‘Review of Terms and Conditions of PMRTS and CMRTS Licences’.
The consultation paper was released on August 29, 2023 and the last date for receiving written comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper was fixed as September 26, 2023, and for counter comments as October 10, 2023. The last dates for submission of written comments and counter comments were extended up to October 24, 2023 and November 7, 2023, respectively, and thereafter up to November 7, 2023 and November 21, 2023 respectively.
However, keeping in view the request of stakeholders for an extension of time for submission of comments, the TRAI has decided to further extend the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments up to November 21, 2023 and December 5, 2023 respectively. As per TRAI, no request for any further extension of time for submission of comments shall be entertained.
