The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for submission of comments and counter comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper titled ‘Review of Quality-of-Service (QoS) Standards for Access Services (Wireless and Wireline) and Broadband (Wireless and Wireline) Services.’
The consultation paper was released on August 18, 2023. Initially, the last date for receiving written comments on the issues raised in the consultation paper was fixed as October 11, 2023, and for counter comments as October 20, 2023. However, on the request of stakeholders, the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments was extended up to November 22, 2023 and December 6, 2023 respectively.
Now, keeping in view the request of stakeholders for further extension of time for submission of comments, the TRAI has decided to extend the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments up to December 14, 2023 and December 28, 2023 respectively.
As per TRAI, no further requests for extension would be considered.
