The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a system of technical and institutional cooperation in the telecommunications domain and contribute to its development.

This MoU marks an important step towards cooperation and knowledge sharing, promoting an atmosphere that stimulates research on regulatory practices, regulatory gaps, and the dissemination of vital insights.

According to Dr. P.D. Vaghela, chairman, TRAI, the new partnership intends to enhance collaboration for regulatory research and bridge gaps in the knowledge along with technical sessions, seminars, and conferences to share expertise and improve capacity. By synergising the resources, knowledge, and expertise, the goal is to understand the transformative power of these technologies and address the regulatory and policy gaps.
