Ahead of a key restructuring exercise, three top executives at Bharti Airtel have quit the company.

As part of the restructuring exercise, the operator is likely to combine its India and Africa operations under a single entity. In a latest development, Shankar Halder, head, network operations, India and South Asia, Bharti Airtel has left the company to start his own entrepreneurial venture.

In December 2012 another key Bharti Airtel executive – S Asokan, head, supply chain, Bharti Airtel had put in his papers. Asokan had been with the organisation for the last seven years and also served as a member with the management board of Bharti Airtel.  Amrita Gangotra, director for IT (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel had also resigned in December 2012.  She went on to join Vodafone?s global team in London.
