Abhitech Energycon manufactures multifunctional combustion catalysts under the THERMOL and THERMACT brands. The technology for THERMOL has been developed in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
THERMOL-D, a multifunctional combustion catalyst for diesel, has been tailor-made to address the deficiencies of diesel.

THERMOL-D has been tested by various customers both in India and globally. In these trials, THERMOL-D has consistently shown the aforementioned engine-related benefits and resulted in fuel savings of 5-7 per cent.
THERMOL-D is a multifunctional fuel additive for diesel for applications such as diesel generator sets, boilers, furnaces, RTG cranes, automobiles and the shipping industry. Today, 70,000-75,000 DG sets across the country are using THERMOL-D. It is also exported to countries like Chile, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the UAE, Hungary, Nigeria and Sri Lanka.
