The Vodacom Group, Telkom South Africa, France Telecom, Emirates Telecom and Orascom Telecom have submitted bids to acquire controlling stake in Nigerian Telecommunications (Nitel).

The Vodacom Group, Telkom South Africa, France Telecom, Emirates Telecom and Orascom Telecom have submitted bids to acquire controlling stake in Nigerian Telecommunications (Nitel). The Nigerian government had invited fresh bids after cancelling the sale of 51 per cent stake in Nitel to Transnational Corporation.
