The Tata Group and Srei Infrastructure likely to sell a majority stake in Viom Networks

The Tata Group and Srei Infrastructure, which hold a majority stake in Viom Networks, are likely to sell their share in the telecom infrastructure company, say news reports.

The Tata Group owns 54 per cent stake in the company through telecom operator Tata Teleservices Limited. Kolkata-based Srei Infrastructure holds about 18 per cent stake in Viom networks. Other stakeholders in Viom Networks are IDFC Private Equity, SBI Macquarie, Oman Investment Fund and GIC of Singapore.
