The Ruias-led Essar Group is understood to be in talks with several telecom infrastructure players such as Srei Group’s Quippo Infrastructure, GTL Infrastructure and Aster Infrastructure for a possible merger of its telecom tower business arm, Essar Telecom Infrastructure Private Limited, with any of these companies.
