The Open Internet Protocol Television Forum that will define an interoperable end-to-end specification for the delivery of IPTV services has been formed. AT&T, Ericsson, France Telecom, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, Siemens, Sony and Telecom Italia have joined hands to form this venture. The forum will help streamline and accelerate the deployment of IPTV technology and maximise its benefit for others. It is open to participation across the communications and entertainment industries.
