The Nigerian unit of Kuwait’s Zain Group has entered into a managed services contract with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). The agreement, starting mid-October 2009, covers full network management and operations and maintenance. As part of the agreement, NSN will provide managed services for Zain’s 4,000 km multi-vendor fibre and dense wave division multiplexing network.
