The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has identified 2,952 telecom towers in the city as illegal constructions and has, therefore, decided to seal them. However, COAI has approached the Delhi High Court seeking a stay on the sealing. The high court has restrained the MCD from sealing the towers for the time being and has sought an explanation for the action.
