The Lifetime Idea scheme launched by Idea Cellular last December has reportedly resulted in a rise in the ratio of outgoing calls to incoming calls and has thus resulted in additional revenue for Idea.

The Lifetime Idea plan grants increasing amounts of talktime to customers for staying longer and longer on its network. The company has already disbursed nearly Rs 30 million worth of talktime to 1.4 million Idea Chitchat (prepaid) customers since the programme was launched.
