The High Court has transferred the petitions of the operators involved in the 3G intra circle roaming pacts (ICR) issue to the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT).

The three operators, Vodafone India, Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular had challenged the Department of Telecommunications? (DoT) order imposing penalties on them for providing 3G services in circles where they did not hold 3G licence. In addition, DoT had also asked the operators to stop offering 3G services through ICR pacts with other operators.

The High Court has asked TDSAT to hear the matter on August 8, 2013.
