The government’s OneIndia uniform tariff plan is likely to comprise two types of call rates. The current local call rates are expected to remain unchanged, while long distance rates will be recalibrated as a single rate across the country. However, the pricing will remain with TRAI. DoT is proposing to issue a draft concept paper on OneIndia soon.
