According to Gartner, the global public cloud services space is expected to witness a 62 per cent increase to touch over $ 160 billion by 2015, compared to 2012. This growth will be facilitated by increased spending on such services.
Meanwhile, global spending on public cloud services was valued at $111 billion last year. In 2013, the research firm expects this space to witness an 18 per cent increase to $131 billion.
Further, in India, the research firm expects the public cloud services market to witness a 36 per cent increase in 2013 to total $443 million.
