
The global business arbitration tribunal, the International Chamber of Commerce, has directed Tata Communications to pay $19 million (and interest applicable from March 2006) to RCOM subsidiary, Flag Telecom (currently Reliance Globalcom), as damages over a cable-related dispute. Reliance had earlier made a $385 million claim against Tata for damages caused by Tata for denying the former access to its Mumbai landing station of the Flag Europe Asia cable.
