The Delhi High Court has asked operators to submit their account books to the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) to check for any underreporting of revenues. The decision comes after the Cellular Operators’ Association of India (COAI) and the Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India challenged the recent CAG direction to the operators to submit their revenue-sharing details for auditing. However, the Delhi High Court has specified that the CAG will not seek any other details from these companies and will also not disclose any of the information provided by them.
