The Capital Group of Companies sells more than 5 per cent of its stake in MobileOne

The Capital Group of Companies has sold more than 5 per cent of its stake in Singapore’s MobileOne Limited in the open market.

With this, Capital Group’s holding has been reduced to 0.24 per cent from 5.92 per cent, and it no longer remains a substantial shareholder of the company. About 50.17 million shares of MobileOne were sold through a block transaction priced at S$2.07 per share, or a total of S$103.8 million. Previously, Telekom Malaysia Bhd and Khazanah Nasional Bhd, through their joint venture company SunShare Investments, raised their stake in MobileOne to 24.04 per cent from 23.64 per cent via share purchases in the open market.
