Thailand’s National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has announced the reserve price for 3G mobile licences. The price will be in the range of THB3.3-6.6 billion and the auction will take place towards the end of 2009. In total, 45 MHz of spectrum will be auctioned to four operators. Three licences will be for 10 MHz each and one for 15 MHz, which will have a higher minimum reserve price. NTC will hold its next public hearing on the licensing issue soon to respond to the queries raised during the first session by industry executives.
