Telkom Kenya has signed a 15 year agreement with Eaton Towers for the management of its passive network infrastructure, say news reports.
As part of the deal, Eaten Towers will maintain the operator’s existing telecom sites and establish new sites as well. Following the deal, Telkom Kenya will retain ownership of its existing portfolio of over 1,000 towers while Eaton Towers will invest in passive infrastructure upgrades and build new towers for the service provider.
