Telekom Malaysia completes acquisition of MobileOne (Singapore)

Telekom Malaysia Bhd said its unit SunShare Investments has completed the acquisition of 118.53 million ordinary shares of S$0.2 each in Singapore’s MobileOne (M1) (representing approximately a 12.06 per cent stake in the company), from Great Eastern Telecommunications Limited. This increases SunShare’s total equity interest in M1 to 24.35 per cent. SunShare Investments is a joint venture between Telekom Malaysia, TM International Sdn Bhd and Khazanah Nasional Bhd.
