Performance of various service segments during the quarter ended September 2023
- According to TRAI’s data, companies operating in the national long distance (NLD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 72.41 billion during the quarter ended September 2023.
- Vi accounted for 27.78 per cent of the total industry NLD revenues at Rs 20.12 billion. It was followed by Airtel (Rs 20.06 billion), Tata Communications Limited (Rs 13.51 billion), BSNL (Rs 7.6 billion) and RJIL (Rs 3.91 billion).
- Meanwhile, companies operating in the international long distance (ILD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 36.89 billion during the same period.
- Airtel recorded the highest gross revenue in the ILD segment at Rs 12.14 billion, followed by Vi (Rs 10.52 billion), RJIL (Rs 5.93 billion), Tata Communications (Rs 2.17 billion), AT&T Global Network Services India Private Limited (Rs 1.69 billion) and Verizon Communications India Private Limited (Rs 1.47 billion).
