- As per TRAI’s data, companies operating in the national long distance (NLD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 73.85 billion during the quarter ended December 2023.
- At Rs 20.82 billion, Airtel accounted for 28.19 per cent of the total industry NLD revenues. It was followed by Vi (Rs 20.02 billion), Tata Communications (Rs 13.53 billion), BSNL (Rs 9.5 billion) and Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Rs 3.89 billion).
- Meanwhile, companies operating in the international long distance (ILD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 34.77 billion during the quarter under consideration.
- Airtel recorded the highest gross revenue in the ILD segment at Rs 11.44 billion. It was followed by Vi (Rs 9.3 billion), Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Rs 5.76 billion), Tata Communications Limited (Rs 2.16 billion), AT&T Global Network Services India Private Limited (Rs 1.64 billion) and Verizon Communications India Private Limited (Rs 1.35 billion).
