• As per TRAI data, companies operating in the national long distance (NLD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 75.6 billion during the quarter ended December 2021.
  • With Rs 24.18 billion, Bharti Airtel accounted for 31.98 per cent of the total industry NLD revenues. It was followed by Vodafone Idea (Rs 22.3 billion), Tata Communications (Rs 10.96 billion), BSNL (Rs 8.31 billion) and Reliance Jio (Rs 3.69 billion).
  • Meanwhile, companies operating in the international long distance (ILD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 30.52 billion during the quarter under consideration.
  • Bharti Airtel recorded the highest gross revenue in the ILD segment at Rs 9.8 billion. It was followed by Vodafone Idea (Rs 7.76 billion), Reliance Jio (Rs 4.02 billion), Tata Communications (Rs 1.83 billion), Verizon Communications India Private Limited (Rs 1.77 billion) and AT&T Global Network Services India Private Limited (Rs 1.65 billion).
