• According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) data, operators generated gross revenues of Rs 417.6 billion in the quarter ended December 2018. They included unified access service licence (UASL), unified licence (UL) and mobile+basic licence holders.
  • Vodafone Idea reported the highest gross revenue of Rs 131.58 billion followed by Bharti Airtel (Rs 127.23 billion), Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Rs 122.23 billion), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) (Rs 19.88 billion) and Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) (Rs 9.29 billion).
  • Circle-wise, Maharashtra emerged as the highest revenue grosser with Rs 34.59 billion. It was followed by Andhra Pradesh (Rs 31.28 billion), Delhi (Rs 31.14 billion), Tamil Nadu and Chennai (Rs 30.7 billion) and Karnataka (Rs 29.68 billion).
  • The lowest revenue generating telecom circles were Himachal Pradesh (Rs 3.07 billion), Jammu & Kashmir (Rs 3.83 billion), the Northeast (Rs 3.87 billion), Assam (Rs 7.35 billion) and Odisha (Rs 9.2 billion).
