• According to TRAI data, companies operating in the national long distance (NLD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 101.16 billion during the quarter ended December 2018.
  • With Rs 38.67 billion, Bharti Airtel accounted for 38.23 per cent of the total industry NLD revenues. It was followed by Vodafone Idea (Rs 34.52 billion), Reliance Jio (Rs 9.01 billion), Tata Communications (Rs 5.8 billion) and BSNL (Rs 5.74 billion).
  • Meanwhile, companies operating in the international long distance space generated total gross revenues of Rs 32.6 billion during the quarter under consideration.
  •  Bharti Airtel recorded the highest gross revenue in the international long distance segment at Rs 13.75 billion. It was followed by Vodafone Idea (Rs 5.37 billion), Tata Communications (Rs 2.5 billion), AT&T Global (Rs 2.47 billion) and Verizon Communi­cations (Rs 1.97 billion).
