- As per TRAI’s data, companies operating in the national long-distance (NLD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 107.87 billion during the quarter ended June 2018.
- With Rs 40.06 billion, Bharti Airtel accounted for 37.14 per cent of the total industry NLD revenues. It was followed by Vodafone (Rs 19.96 billion), Idea Cellular (Rs 14.39 billion), BSNL (Rs 14.37 billion) and RJIL (Rs 6.62 billion).
- Meanwhile, companies operating in the international long-distance (ILD) space generated total gross revenues of Rs 31.62 billion during the quarter under consideration.
- Bharti Airtel recorded the highest gross revenue in the ILD segment at Rs 13.07 billion. It was followed by Vodafone India (Rs 4.53 billion), AT&T Global (Rs 2.2 billion), Tata Communications (Rs 2.07 billion) and Verizon Communications (Rs 2 billion).
