Telecom service provider Tele2 with major operations in European countries has restructured its top management team.

It has appointed new chief executive officers for markets like Sweden, Russia, Netherlands and Norway. The restructuring exercise has been undertaken with a view to strengthen company?s focus on its main markets.

To maximise current and future opportunities in these markets, Tele2 has appointed Thomas Ekman, Jere Calmes, Gunther Vogelpoel as the chief executive officers of Tele2 Sweden, Tele2 Russia and Tele2 Netherlands, respectively. With the appointment of new leadership team, Tele2 has done away with the concept of market area director. Also, Arild Hustad, chief executive officer, Tele2 Norway, will be given another role in the leadership team.
