Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel have informed the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that they will await the hearing from the Supreme Court (SC) on the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) modification pleas filed by them.
This would imply that Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel will not be making any payments to the government by the January 23, 2020 deadline.
Both the telcos have already filed modifications petitions in the SC, for which the hearing will be done soon.
